Measuring Guide

1. Height

Vertical dashed measurement line running from the top of the head all the way down to the floor hem of the gown.

Definition: Stand barefoot with feet together, measure the full vertical length from the crown of your head straight down to the ground without shoes.

2. Bust

Horizontal dashed line across the fullest curve of the chest.

Definition: Wrap the measuring tape horizontally around the widest part of your bust, wear an unpadded bra, relax your arms at your sides, keep the tape flat and level against your body.

3. Waist

Horizontal dashed line across the narrowest natural midsection of the torso.

Definition: Locate the smallest natural indent of your waist (roughly 1 inch above your belly button), wrap the tape loosely around this spot to leave comfortable breathing room.

4. Hips

Horizontal dashed line across the broadest part of the hip and seat area.

Definition: Measure around the widest section of your hips and rear, approximately 7 inches below your natural waist, keep the measuring tape parallel to the ground.

5. Sleeve Length

Curved dashed line tracing the full arm from the shoulder tip down to the wrist.

Definition: Start measuring at the outermost edge of your shoulder bone, follow the natural curve of your arm all the way to your desired sleeve end point at the wrist.

6. Hollow to Hem

Vertical dashed line starting at the hollow indent between the collarbones, extending straight down to the bottom floor hem of the wedding dress.

Definition: Stand barefoot, begin the tape at the hollow space between your two collarbones, pull the tape vertically straight down to the floor where the dress hem will rest.
